The Hub of the Highways is getting bigger!

The Town of Onoway has long been a nexus of transportation corridors, but none more significant than the intersection of Hwy 37 & 43. Highway 43 serves as the primary transportation corridor to northwestern Alberta and northern BC while Highway 37 serves as shortcut to the north end of the Edmonton metropolitan region. The Town of Onoway is taking steps to support current and future businesses that see value in both of these transportation corridors. With the assistance of Lac Ste Anne County, the Town of Onoway commissioned an engineering study regarding the evolution and eventual implementation of an interchange at the intersection of the highways. Highway 37 & 43 Commercial & Industrial Corridor- Highway Access Point Optimization

Onoway helps businesses get on the road!

The Town of Onoway is committed to ensuring new and current businesses can make the most of the provincial transportation corridors. With the help of Lac Ste Anne County, the Town of Onoway has commissioned an engineering study to optimize the Town’s various access points on to the provincial highway network. This includes consolidating and expanding access points but also optimizing the size of individual access points to facilitate the large turning radius for the trucks carrying your next big delivery to a customer.

The engineering study is expected to be completed in 2025 and will be made available for public use at that time.
