The Town of Onoway has long been a nexus of transportation corridors, but none more significant than the intersection of Hwy 37 & 43. Highway 43 serves as the primary transportation corridor to northwestern Alberta and northern BC while Highway 37 serves as shortcut to the north end of the Edmonton metropolitan region. The Town of Onoway is taking steps to support current and future businesses that see value in both of these transportation corridors. With the assistance of Lac Ste Anne County, the Town of Onoway commissioned an engineering study regarding the evolution and eventual implementation of an interchange at the intersection of the highways.
