The Town of Onoway Celebrated 100 Year 1923-2023 June 23, 24 and 25th, 2023

The Family movie for Outdoor movie night held at Ruth Cust Park was voted on by the public and Mrs. DoubtFire was chosen.
Pancake Breakfast at the Community Hall.
The Centennial Parade was a great success. Thank you to our Parade Marshall (as seen below) Town of Onoway resident Ed Felske Celeberating 100 years young.
Quilt Show put on by Onoway & District Quilt Guild at the Heritage Centre. Celebrating quilts old and new.
300 visitors viewed more than 100 displayed quilts and wall hangings.
Circus Variety Show Performers.

Alexis Nakota Sioux Nation drummers and dancers showcased their culture, to the delight of all of those who attended.

There were over 100 entries and these new and vintage vehicles created smiles and nostalgic reactions.
The Soap Box Deby- Organized by The Foundry.
40 plus businesses generously sponsored the cars and 82 enthusiastic young drivers participated in the races. Great fun was had by all.
The Lord Strathcona Mounted Horse Show Performance at Bretzlaff Park.
Mounted Troop musical rider reminiscent of the Traditions of the Twenties and Thirties.
On Saturday Evening on 50th Street, folks connected at a Beer Garden, and enjoyed singing, dancing, along with the bands. Approximately 250 folks took part in the festivities.
