Steps to starting a business in the Town of Onoway

Business Licenses
At the Town of Onoway Council meeting of January 13, 2022, Council passed a motion to reinstate the business license fee for 2022 year. The fee has been set at $50.00 for the 2022 term, which is the same rate applied in 2020 (recall that the 2021 fee was waived as part of the Town’s temporary COVID relief measures). All previously registered businesses will receive a renewal reminder via mail; any new businesses are required to fill out and submit a Business License Application prior to commencing operations.
