Fire Advisory in Effect-April 14, 2025 until further notice

The Fire Hazard Rating for the Town of Onoway in Lac Ste. Anne County is VERY HIGH –as a result, a FIRE ADVISORY is now in effect.

With increasing temperatures, wind, and dry conditions, there will NOT be any new Fire Permits issued.

Currently issued Fire Permits for allowed burning and any campfires, wood-fired appliances, and approved fire pits will be allowed at this time; however, please use with extreme caution with more frequent monitoring and enhanced extinguishing methods. 

 

Please report any wildfire to 9-1-1 with the exact location to assist Fire Personnel in locating and extinguishing these fires. Your cooperation is greatly appreciated.
